Hazel + Benjamin Actual Day
I have to admit I always have to check on the groom’s name on facebook. Ha!
I enjoyed making up Hazel because she knew what she wanted but she was open to my suggestions as well. Her theme for the night was pretty straightforward – Old Shanghai @ Grand Shanghai. Everybody was decked out in their finery and cheongsams. One word of caution though, do check out what the waitresses are wearing at Grand Shanghai, you do not want your guests to end up serving the guests!
Hazel chose a side chignon for her morning gown. We decided on a more retro and funky hairstyle for her evening cheongsam-inspired gown. I am very happy it turned out very well and of course even happier that Hazel liked it. Its so retro-sleek -ish. Hazel is my most adventurous bride to date. So proud!
